About

A web scraping team in Pokhara, Nepal

GetDataForMe is a team of scraping engineers. We build the scrapers, run them, and send the data back. That is the whole business.

Our story

GetDataForMe started as a small web scraping team in Pokhara, Nepal. The first jobs were simple: a client sent a site and a list of fields, and we sent back a clean file.

The team grew through work on Upwork and on the Apify platform, where we publish Actors for the sites people ask for most. Keeping those Actors running taught us that a scraper is never finished once it ships; sites change, and someone has to be there when they do.

Today we do two things. Clients hire an engineer by the month and get a person who works on their scraping every day, or they send us a site and get the data back as a one-off or recurring project. Same team, same tools, either way.

How we work

Four rules we hold ourselves to

  • 01

    Honest scoping

We look at the site before we quote. If a target is not worth scraping, or we cannot do it the way you need, we say so before any money changes hands.

  • 02

    Public data only

We extract data that is publicly visible. No credential abuse, no private or personal data beyond what is public, and no request load that hurts the site.

  • 03

    Ship daily

Every engineer posts a daily update: what ran, what broke, what shipped. You see progress every working day, not at the end of the month.

  • 04

    Fix what breaks

Sites change and scrapers break. Project deliveries come with a 30-day fix window, and engineers on a monthly hire keep their scrapers running as part of the job.
