Hire the team

Add a scraping engineer to your team by the month

$2,500 per engineer per month, minimum one month. Senior on anti-bot, reverse engineering and large crawls, working in your repository and your tools.

Hiring a scraping engineer through us works like adding a contractor who already has colleagues. You get one named engineer, full time, on your project, with the rest of our team behind them when a site turns out to need a second pair of eyes. They write code in your repository, use your tracker and chat, and send a short written update every working day. You pay a flat $2,500 a month per engineer and can stop at the end of any month.

In detail

How it works

01

What the engineer does

Builds and maintains scrapers, reverse-engineers private and mobile APIs, handles anti-bot and proxy strategy, sets up schedulers and QA checks, and documents everything. If you already have scrapers that keep breaking, taking those over is a common first month.

02

How it fits your team

Your repository, your branch rules, your code review. We work in Python or Node.js by default and adapt to your stack. Overlap with European and US working hours is standard.

03

Backed by the whole team

A hard protection or an unfamiliar protocol does not stall your project. The engineer pulls in a colleague who has solved it before, and you are not billed for that help. Holidays and sick days are covered by a stand-in who already knows the codebase.

04

Flexible by the month

Start with one engineer and add more as the backlog grows. There is no long contract: the minimum is one month and notice is simply telling us before the next month starts. Knowledge is handed over in writing, so nothing leaves with the engineer.

Questions

About scraping engineers for hire

What does $2,500 a month include?

A full-time engineer, roughly 160 hours a month, plus access to the team for second opinions and cover during absence. Proxies, captcha solving and cloud costs are passed through at cost or run on your own accounts.

Can I interview the engineer first?

Yes. We propose one or two engineers with a short profile and you talk to them before committing. If the fit is wrong in the first two weeks, we swap at no charge.

Who owns the code?

You do. Everything is written in your repository under your licence from day one, and nothing is held back if you stop the engagement.

Is this cheaper than hiring locally?

Usually by a wide margin, but the bigger difference is that the engineer already does this work every day. You skip the months of learning how anti-bot vendors behave and how to keep a crawler alive.

Tell us the site. We'll tell you what it takes.

Send a URL and the fields you need. An engineer looks at it the same day and replies with a plan and a price.
