What we scrape in real estate

Sale and rental listings, agent directories, public property records and short-term rental pages, keyed on address and refreshed on your schedule.

Property portals are among the hardest sites we work with: aggressive anti-bot, map-based search that hides most listings, and prices that change without the page saying so. We scrape listings by area with full detail pages, normalise addresses so the same property is one record across portals, and record each day a listing was seen so time on market and price cuts are measurable. Public assessor records and permits can be joined on the same address key.

Use cases

Jobs we are usually asked for

Listing feeds by area

Daily collection of all sale or rental listings in a set of postcodes or cities, with detail-page fields and photo URLs, deduplicated across portals and keyed on a normalised address so one property is one row.

Time on market and price history

Because every run records which listings are present and at what price, reductions, relistings and sold dates fall out of the snapshots without any extra tracking on your side of the pipeline.

Short-term rental supply

Scrape active short-term rental listings, nightly rates and calendar availability for a destination on a schedule, so supply and pricing can be compared with long-term rents and hotel rates in the same area.

Questions

About real estate scraping

Can you scrape Zillow or Rightmove?

Public listing and search pages, yes, at a cadence that respects the site. Both are heavily protected and the quote reflects that; we do not use agent logins or MLS access we are not entitled to.

How do you get around map-based search limits?

By tiling the area into small polygons or postcode cells and merging the results. Listings hidden behind the portal's result caps are still collected, and each one is counted once.

Can you join listings with public records?

Yes, on normalised address or parcel number where assessors publish it. Ownership, tax and permit fields are added from public sources in the same jurisdiction.

How is a real estate dataset priced?

A one-off pull of one portal for one area starts at $500. Daily coverage of several portals and areas is quoted monthly after the first sample.
